Q. What areas do you service?

Accepted Answer

A. We offer our balloon decoration services to clients in New Jersey, New York City, Long Island areas, and parts Connecticut.

Question 3

Q. How far in advance should I place my order?

Accepted Answer

In order to allow enough time to work together on the details of your order, we recommend that all jobs be booked/confirmed at least two weeks in advance. Reservations are subject to delivery slot availability at the time the order is placed.

Q. Who will set-up my decoration and how long will it take?

Accepted Answer

A. Depending on the size of your order you can expect a team of one to four balloon artists. Our team will be wearing My Deco Balloon uniforms so you can recognize them. Depending on the size and design of your decoration, it can take from fifteen minutes to four hours for our team to build and set up your balloon decoration.

Q. How and when do I have to pay for my decor?

A. In order to book your event, we required a deposit of 50% and the remaining balance is due 1 week before the event date. Payments can be made by credit cards, checks, cash or money apps.

Q. What is your refund/cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

A.  Client is allowed to cancel at any time before the delivery or event date. However, a cancellation fee will apply. Refunds must be requested in writing by email ONLY and will be processed within 14 business days from the time of receipt of the request. Refunds total will be considered as follows:
*The Deposit payment is non-refundable.
*Refunds requested more than 3 weeks to the event: total monies paid minus retainer.
*Refunds requested less than 3 weeks to the event: a maximum of 50% of the total balance is refundable. 
*No refund will be made after delivery has been made or accepted.

Q. How long will the decor last?

Accepted Answer

A. That depends on the environmental conditions and if the decor is air-filled, or helium filled. A regular 11″ helium balloon has a lifespan of about 18 hours. We can extend the float time by use of Hi-Float, a polymer that is added to the balloon prior to inflation. This can increase the float time by several days. Air-filled decor can last for days or even weeks under the right conditions.

Q. Are balloons biodegradable or can they be recycled?

A. There are two types of balloons, foil (sometimes called mylar) and latex. Foil balloons are not biodegradable, but can be recycled. Latex balloons can't be recycled, but are biodegradable.

A. Absolutely! When you call to talk to one of My Deco Balloon's event artists, they will ask you questions about your event and the purpose of the decor- that is whether you are trying to attract attention to a focal point, or going for an overall ambiance. If you have already figured out your approximate budget, our designers can help by suggesting packages and decor alternatives that match your goals with your specific budget in mind.

Q. Do the prices include removal of the decor?

Accepted Answer

A. NO, removal of decor is not included. A quote can be provided if this service is required.

Q. What is the delivery and set-up fee?

Accepted Answer

A. The delivery and set-up charge for decoration varies based on location and time frames, and starts at $30.
